(05.03.2008) Most foreign citizens need a visa for their entry to Norway. The visa must be obtained before travelling into the Schengen area, which includes most West European countries. Young Agenda 21 sends the necessary documents to all delegates from these countries by DHL or by airmail within short time. It is urgent that the visa applications be handed in at the embassy as soon as possible.

All delegates and chaperones from countries where a visa is required, will receive a letter with several forms and information sheets about the visa procedures. There is also an overview of the embassies in charge, including their address, phone number and opening hours. In some cases other than Norwegian embassies are responsible for visas to Norway and the Schengen area.
It may take some weeks to get the visa issued, and no sponsored air tickets will be purchased before delegates have obtained their visa. Please make sure you inform Young Agenda 21 immediately and email a copy of the visa.
