(03.06.2008) At every Tunza conference a Junior Board is elected, for the period up to the next UNEP Children's Conference. The Junior Board representatives come from all regions of the world. Delegates who would like to be considered as Junior Board members 2008-2010 must fulfill certain criteria.

If you are eligible according to these criteria, you must fill in a form and have your parents or guardians sign it. The form can be downloaded here. Make sure to bring the form to the Tunza 2008 conference and hand it in when you register.
This letter gives you more information about the role of the Junior Board.
You can also prepare a 1-minute presentation of yourself, which you will give during the plenary session on Thursday morning, 18 June. It has to be short because there will be many candidates. Make sure you tell the audience about your environmental activities and why you think you could do a good job as a Junior Board member. You should try to speak without a script - it will be fine if you practise in advance.

The new Junior Board will be elected on Friday morning, during the plenary session, and the elected members will be presented in the evening at the Closing Ceremony.
