This will take place on the 20th or 21st of June in Stavanger. The sponsorship will include financial support towards an artistic programme, the hire of AV-equipment and more.
  • Special package 3: Theme day
Each day of the conference will focus on one specific environmental theme, like Water, Energy, Resources and waste, and Biological diversity. The program will be tailored to fit the theme of the day. The children's project presentations, workshops, trips and excursions as well as handed out material will also accommodate the theme.

The sponsors' fields of profession should have relevance to the current theme of the day. If the sponsors have professional competence and resources, it would be possible to involve them in activities such as workshops and excursions.

The financial or material support of the sponsors will be used directly towards the financial costs of professionals, transport to excursion destinations and more. The sponsors will be mentioned in the plenary assembly at the start of the day.

  • Special package 4: Programme for the adult leaders
The participating children will be escorted by adults - teachers, parents, and organisation leaders. The adults are environmental enthusiasts and will be offered an interesting program which will run parallell with the arrangements for the children. This will include visits to companies, workshops and more tourist based activities. The leaders will be informed of the sponsor which contributed to their program.
  • Special package 5: Meeting for the Junior Board
The board of youths who form part of the planning and execution of the conference, Junior Board, will be in regular contact with the organisers via the internet for about one year prior to the conference. The members consist of 12 children from different parts of the world. The board members will meet once in Stavanger before the conference. This will ensure personal interaction, and the children are given an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the facilities and the suggested arenas for the event. Financial support for this package will cover travel and accommodation expenses for the children and their chaperones and the program activities.

B-sponsors:

  • Financial and/or material contributions equivalent to NOK 50.000-250.000.
  • Special package 1: Sponsor for the World Party
An evening of cultural events will be organised, outdoors if the weather allows it. The events include children from all different parts of the world performing in their national outfits, tailored into a program which reflects Norwegian tradition.

Financial support for this package will cover the costs for a stage, the hire of AV-equipment, the hire of artists and security, as well as the food.

  • Special package 2: Travel aid to participants from developing countries
This conference could not be named a "world conference" unless children from all parts of the world participate. Enthusiasm is high for all the expected participants. However, financial limitations could take this unique experience away from a lot of children. Many children and leaders need financial support for travel and accommodation. Travel aid will be earmarked for participants from selected countries to ensure their participation.
