Registration for Tunza 2008
Registrations for the United Nations Tunza International Children's Conference on the Environment 2008, have commenced. The conference is to be held in Stavanger, Norway from 17 to 21 June 2008. About 1 000 children and chaperones from all over the world are expected to participate.
The application form is available at UNEP's website www.unep.org/tunza. Please select "For children" and "Events" to locate the form. The application deadline is 31 October.
Children between 10 and 14 years old in June 2008 who are involved in environmental activities, qualify to apply for participations. Applicants will be informed of their acceptance by the end of February.
Applicants from the Stavanger region are kindly asked to contact the secretariat, as they will follow different application procedures.
