Shell supports Young Agenda 21
The Norwegian Shell Company has supported Young Agenda 21 and their environmental activities for several years. They continue their sponsorship in 2009.
This year's support is basically earmarked for the Children's University, which is planned to be started in cooperation with the University of Stavanger. This is a follow-up of last year's invention, when a couple of lectures were held for children during the Research Days. The Norwegian Research Council has also received a funding application, and if everything works out well the Children's University will be included in the permanent program at the University of Stavanger.
